DMI is seeking a Solaris/LINUX System Administrator to join our team.

• →Maintaining and administering Oracle on Solaris and LINUX
• →Administer and setup Apache
• →Work with multi-tiered clustered environments
• →Serves as the lead specialist on Solaris issues and provide team coordination
• →Provide technical and infrastructure support services for Solaris OS based servers and systems, including but not limited to Systems Administration of UNIX (Solaris), DNSSec, SFTP and other Solaris based services
• →Administers and configures network hardware and software resources, such as servers, DNS, databases, and provides protocol and connectivity support to developers of web-enabled applications
• →Develops, monitors, and maintains utilities and procedures to perform periodic maintenance, backups, shutdowns, recoveries, and diagnostics
• →Evaluates, recommends, and installs software and hardware to facilitate and monitor network throughput and control load balancing
• →Ability to produce custom reports from the help desk tickets submitted by the users in timely manner.
• →Extensive experience communicating with the software system users on the regular basis to address their issues/requests.
• →Excellent analytical skills.
• →Functional knowledge of relevant DoD hosted software systems.
