Purchasing Clerk

We specialize in a full range of new and retrofit construction for industrial, food processing, commercial, institutional, healthcare, pharmaceutical, and bio-fuel projects.

Shambaugh & Son is looking for a Purchasing Clerk. In this position you will be responsible for invoice reconciliation and other miscellaneous purchasing tasks.

• →Assist the VP of Purchasing and Purchasing Manager daily with Purchasing responsibilities, to include but not limited to the following: 
• →Process Trade Power each morning for the Data Entry Team 
• →Reconcile invoices daily. 
• →Ensure and promote compliance to company and procurement policies and procedures
• →Other duties as assigned

• 2 years’ minimum experience in an office setting
• Previous Purchasing experience is a plus
• Must have proven multi-task skills in prior position
• Candidate must be accurate; attention to detail and excellent organizational skills a must
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Organized and a self-starter
• Regular and reliable attendance, including the ability to work extended hours and weekends as required
