Requirements Summary

Plant Operator I is an entry-level position and performs basic maintenance duties under the supervision of Plant Operators II and III. These duties involve operating, monitoring, and maintaining stationary equipment on FHP commercial and residential properties to ensure safe and efficient boiler operation, including steam/hot water boilers, diesel generators, electrical equipment, switchgear, fuel transfer systems, centrifugal/reciprocating/multi-stack/process chillers, ground water cooling systems and pumped systems, such as chilled water, condensate water, domestic hot and cold water, heating hot water, condensate, sewage ejector, medical air, vacuum, mechanical air, and fuel oil.

Responsibilities

→EPA 608 Universal Technician Certificate
→Boiler Operator certificate of fitness: 2nd Class.
→Experience in a healthcare setting.
→Additional related education and experience preferred.
