Resident Care Assistant - Assisted Living Memory Support

Ancora Memory Support at Mount Alverna Village is hiring a Resident Care Assistant (RCA) who will be assisting the needs of our residents through a person-centered approach.  Our mission is to celebrate life and serve with joy and that is exactly what we do when it comes to meeting the needs of our residents.

In this role, you will be responsible for assisting the residents with activities of daily living, medication reminders, and social and spiritual pursuits to the best of their abilities while promoting their dignity, independence, self-determination, privacy, choice, and rights.

• →Assist the residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting) and medication reminders.
• →Identify residents’ physical and cognitive changes, making appropriate follow-up decisions, documentation, and communication to appropriate associates.
• →Assist the residents with leisure time programming, including escorting them to and from activities.
• →Assist with dining services and general housekeeping duties as needed.
• →Perform other duties as assigned.
• →Comply with all policies and procedures and any updates.
