→Excellent problem solving, analytical, and decision-making skills
→Proven people‑management experience leading cloud or platform engineering teams.
→Experience managing direct reports remotely.
→Experience leading large‑scale cloud migrations or platform transformations.
→Experience managing complex projects.
→Proven experience building internal platforms or shared engineering services at scale.
→Deep understanding of Linux environments, networking, and cloud architecture fundamentals.
→Experience with DevOps/SRE methodologies & tools
→Experience in performance engineering and capacity planning
→Experience with software development and testing processes in an agile environment
→Experience with Kubernetes, Helm-charts, Gitlab, Elasticsearch, Confluent Kafka.
→Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and drive results
→Ability to navigate ambiguity and drive alignment across competing priorities.
→Familiar with secure development processes across the full SDLC, including secrets management, vulnerability scanning, and CVE remediation.
→Familiar with GRC review, PCI audit and SOC2 compliance processes.
→Able to manage multiple priority projects at the same time.
→Solid understanding of cloud and platform engineering, IaC, CI/CD pipelines, observability, reliability and resilience patterns.
→Strong communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and executive audiences (verbal and written).
→Able to go deep technically when needed, while operating primarily at the systems and strategy level.
→Demonstrated ability to use data to make informed decisions about priorities and measure the cost of problems and the impact of solutions.
→Demonstrated ability to build solutions to automate monitoring systems to ensure the highest level of uptime for production systems.
→Experience managing cloud costs, budgets, and optimization initiatives.

Physical Role Requirements Be seated at a computer intermittently for up to eight hours a day. Move up to 10 pounds occasionally, by lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, or otherwise repositioning objects. Sitting for long periods of time while using office equipment such as computers and phones. Repetitive motions using hands and digits; such as movement of wrists, hands and fingers while picking, pinching and typing during your normal working environment.

Minimum Education, Licensure and Professional Certification requirements: Bachelor’s degree required in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. AWS certifications are preferred

Minimum Experience required (number of years necessary to perform role): 6+ years of experience required in platform, cloud, infrastructure, DevOps or SRE roles. 5+ years of people leadership experience managing engineering teams

Travel: Up to 20%

This role pays between $165k to $205k, and your actual base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, responsibilities, experience, and location.
