Degree in Mechanical Engineering
7-8 years of heavy-equipment fabrication/repair maintenance and inspection experience
The candidate should have extensive knowledge about welding technology, fabrication and related standards. Additional knowledge of aspects of Rail Car (RDSO and RITES) designs, IR regulations/standards, and IR rules regarding clearing of designs and inspection procedures involved will be a plus.
Familiarity with Solid modelling would be a plus.

Ability to read and interpret documents such as Standards, Specifications, detailed design drawings, technical Notes, Wagon Maintenance Manual, G-105, G-95, and other similar instructions, IRCA rules and operating Manual for Indian Railways.
