Responsibilities
~1 min readThe Electrical Engineer Intern is responsible for assisting the department with various projects including designing, developing, testing, and implementing product components. Responsibilities include:
- →Assisting in planning and performing design development tasks from concept to implementation.
- →Responsible for studying and evaluating disciplinary or interdisciplinary aspects of new product or design concepts
- →Assisting with planning and testing necessary to assure adequate performance of designs for all stages of design and development, or complexity.
- →Assisting with completing adequate documentation of the performed task including description, specification, testing and implementation.
Requirements
~1 min read- Must have demonstrated strong analytical skills.
- Able to interpret data, generate graphs, and visually communicate test results
- Understanding of basic programming logic and electrical circuit principles
- Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills as required to interface with other departments and company personnel in a service function.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
- Must be able to work part-time (20 hours approx.) Monday through Friday. (Hamilton will adjust working hours to work with Academic Schedule.) During summer break you will be expected to work 40 hours per week.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Must be currently enrolled in the Bachelor of Science, Engineering program at University of Nevada, Reno.
