Emergency Department Social Worker II (LMSW Required)

• →Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited college or university.
• →Current Maryland Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) license.
• →Minimum of two (2) years of experience in emergency department social work, hospital social work, crisis intervention, medical social work, behavioral health, case management, or discharge planning.
• →Experience conducting psychosocial assessments and developing discharge plans within an acute care or healthcare setting.

• →Experience in an Emergency Department, Trauma Center, or Acute Care Hospital.
• →Experience working with patients experiencing mental health crises, substance use disorders, homelessness, domestic violence, or complex psychosocial needs.
• →Knowledge of local community resources and social service networks.
• →Experience conducting behavioral health assessments and safety planning.
• →Experience supporting vulnerable and high-risk patient populations.
• →Previous experience within an academic medical center or large healthcare system.
• →Experience mentoring social work students or interns.
