The PCA/CNA is responsible for escorting patients to exam rooms, obtaining vital signs, and accurately documenting information within our EHR system. Additional responsibilities include assisting nurses and physicians as directed, performing rapid laboratory testing such as urinalysis, hemoglobin, guaiac, rapid Strep, flu/covid, RSV testing, preparing and submitting outgoing labs, and conducting hearing and vision screenings.
This role requires the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced pediatric environment. The PCA/CNA will work one-on-one with physicians on a rotating basis while also collaborating in group settings with nurses, providers, and fellow staff members to ensure efficient patient care and clinic flow.
We are looking for someone who is dependable, compassionate, team-oriented, and able to multitask effectively. Previous PCA, CNA, or medical office experience is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities

- →Make sure Meaningful Use requirements are addressed and met as appropriately delegated to the check in process
- →Review daily schedules to ensure productive clinic flow; monitor charge tickets to reflect updates in insurance, patient demographics, etc.
