Software Engineer Level 2

Markon is seeking a Front End Engineer to support the Fort Meade customer in the design and development of responsive, high-performance web applications. This role will work closely with backend developers and senior front-end engineers to deliver scalable, maintainable, and user-focused solutions.

• →Develop responsive, high-performance web applications using React and Next.js
• →Implement server-side rendering, static site generation, and dynamic routing with Next.js
• →Collaborate with backend developers to deliver cohesive, scalable solutions
• →Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and SEO
• →Integrate RESTful APIs into front-end applications
• →Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
• →Participate in code reviews and contribute to front-end architecture decisions with senior front-end engineers

• Active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph with this Customer. 
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 14+ years of software development experience
• Strong experience with React and Next.js
• Experience with server-side rendering, static site generation, and dynamic routing
• Experience integrating RESTful APIs
• Strong understanding of front-end performance optimization, scalability, and SEO best practices
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
• Experience collaborating with backend developers and senior engineering teams

USD $210,000.00 - USD $225,000.00 /Yr.The Markon pay range for this position is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
