Massy Wood is searching for a Recruiter to provide temporary resourcing support to our Recruitment Department for trade & craft roles in the oil and gas industry.

 

  • Ensure that there is an approved Requisition, prior to initiating recruitment & selection process.
  • Review Requisition against organisation charts in order to ensure that the vacancy is valid.
  • Shortlist and interview selected candidates, together with the relevant line managers, as well as completing the relevant interview assessment forms.
  • Prepare and issue offer of employment and negotiate final terms and conditions with candidate.
  • Coordinate inter-company secondments.
  • Ensure that all offers extended are in keeping with the relevant commercial bands.
  • Prepare compensation analysis spreadsheets for each positon being offered to be reviewed by P&O Team Leader and Contract Manager.
  • Coordinate graduate trainee and internship programs.
  • Conduct passive interviews for hard-to-fill potions.
  • Prepare contract renewals for expatriate employees.
  • Liaise with the Commercial department to ensure that all candidates are PAAF-approved technically and commercially.
  • Follow-up on the status of PAAF’s on a weekly basis.
  • Greet and escort new hires to workstation/department upon employee’s first day.
  • Provide Massy Wood Group start pack.
  • Oversee the coordination of new employee orientation, as well as deliver content information.
  • Produce weekly/monthly statistics for P&O reporting e.g. headcount reports.
  • Produce various P&O metrics/reports/audits as requested.
  • Assist with departmental projects as required.
  • Provide general internal P&O support to all internal stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, from a recognised university
  • A minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a similar position.
  • Ability to work effectively and prioritise in a fast-paced, high-performance work environment.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Inspires and motivates others to work well and accepts feedback.
  • Seeks ways to improve and promote quality and demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness.
  • Ability to make decisions in a timely manner and exhibits sound and accurate judgment.
  • Intermediate computer skills with experience in Microsoft Office.
  • Prioritises and plans work activities, uses time efficiently and develops realistic action plans.
  • Actively promotes and personally observes safety and security procedures and uses equipment and materials properly.
  • Maintains the highest level of confidentiality and trustworthiness.
  • Proficient in systems such as Microsoft Office Suite, Applicant Tracking Systems, HRIS.
  • National citizen or Permanent Resident of Trinidad & Tobago.
