About the Role

Description of the entity/Team

 

The mission of the Orange Business ‘B2B Global Sourcing’ direction, which reports to Global Delivery and Operations and is an integral part of the Group's purchasing and supply chain organization, is to support the Orange Business teams in providing competitive solutions to our B2B customers (France and International), while managing risks and integrating social responsibility into contracts. Approximately 2 billion euros of expenditure are under his responsibility, on a scope of 6,500 suppliers to date.

 

The B2B Global Sourcing Direction will comprise 4 new entities:

•             1 business partner entity for customer projects sourcing: “Project Sourcing”

•             2 strategic sourcing entities: « Telecom Sourcing » and « B2B Category Sourcing »

•             1 entity in support of entities above: “Sourcing Operations”

 

Sourcing Operations will be responsible for continuously improving the operation and maturity of B2B Global Sourcing in order to enhance performance in financial, social and environmental terms, as well as employee expertise.

Within Sourcing Operations, the team “Sourcing Expertise“ will be responsible for setting up and managing RFx execution, contracting and all administrative activities requiring purchasing expertise.

 

Missions:

 

The Sourcing Expert will be responsible for supporting the sourcing teams in improving performance and efficiency by optimizing and industrializing administrative and transactional purchasing activities with the support of Purchasing tools.

Description of main responsibilities:

  • Work with buyers in Telecom Sourcing, Project Sourcing and B2B Category Sourcing to execute RFXs and increase their number, so as to increase buyers’ negotiating power
  • Take over administrative activities, such as contracting or supplier onboarding, so that buyers can focus on more added value activities such as negotiation, category management, business partnerships.
  • Develop usages and provide operational support on new processes and tools
  • Verification of supplier information: Ensuring the accuracy of supplier data in SPRINT.
  • Supplier integration: Manage the integration process in SPRINT.
  • RFx creation: Create an RFx in SPRINT following the buyer's guidelines.
  • Supplier lifecycle management: Manage supplier status changes (name/entity changes, acquisitions, mergers).
  • Integrating new suppliers: Facilitating the integration of new suppliers.
  • DRP analysis with specialist domain knowledge
  • Prepare contracts: Participating in drafting contracts, monitoring contract compliance
  • Conclude non-commercial contracts
  • Legal compliance: Ensure that contracts comply with legal aspects (RGPD, etc.), concluding non-commercial clauses in the contract,
  • Communication: Ensure coordination between legal departments, stakeholders and suppliers.
  • Regional requirements: Meet region-specific requirements.
  • Update contracts in line with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide Expertise on ‘legal’ clauses - specific to Orange Business
  • Data management: ensure supplier de-duplication and maintain GL account / CC3 mapping 
  • Guaranty the correct application of the RFx and contracting processes: analyze the coherence as well as the quality of the data used, define / adapt the business rules.
  • Contribute to deploy an improved process to enhance the employee journey, in conjunction with the Digital & Data team and the Project Sourcing, Telco Sourcing and B2B Category Sourcing entities

Identify potential risks and create mitigation strategies / audit information in SPRINT

 

   
  • Education : Advanced degree in Business management, Sales, Purchasing, Engineering or related field
  • Experience: Solid practice and experience in operational sourcing, including extensive use of e-sourcing and contract lifecycle management tools
