The Physical Therapist is a qualified person who directs, supervises, evaluates, and provides Physical Therapy services to patients in the acute, swing, skilled nursing and outpatient settings as prescribed and ordered by the attending physician.

You may be requested to travel between the two offices situated in Quincy, CA, and Greenville, CA.

✓Base Rate: $70.11–$99.96 per hour

✓Starting pay is determined using our clinical pay scales, which feature 13 steps recognizing up to 30 years of relevant experience.

Requirements

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program
Active California Physical Therapy License (in good standing)
Successful completion of the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE)
Current AHA BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
Compliance with all California and federal PT regulatory requirements

Preferred Experience

1+ year experience in acute care, swing bed/skilled nursing, or outpatient settings
Strong clinical reasoning, communication, and documentation skills
Ability to manage diverse patient populations and diagnoses
Proficiency with computers and EMR systems
Strong problem-solving abilities and high attention to detail
Commitment to ongoing professional development

Responsibilities

→Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans by applying diagnostic and prognostic muscle, nerve, joint, and functional ability tests.
→Treats injuries, manage chronic conditions, prevent future problems, improve physical function and educate patients to maximize and/or maintain their maximum level of independence.
→Records and reports to the physician the patient’s reaction to treatment and/or any changes in the patient’s condition as required/needed.
→Educates patients and their families in the use of prosthetic, orthotic, and assistive devices (canes, walkers, wheelchairs, etc.) and other necessary therapeutic equipment/devices.
→Attends rehabilitation center staff meetings and in-service presentations.
