Physical Therapist-ESCR - Full Time

1-     Delivery of treatment services to children ranging in ages from 0-21 years

2-     Evaluation services

3-     Job-related department responsibilities  

• →Provide treatment for 10 – 12 patients per day
• →Supervise student interns as directed by Manager
• →Conduct initial Physical Therapy evaluations and re-evaluations
• →Develops and reviews patient care plans in conjunction with Physiatrist
• →Participates in clinical quality assurance initiatives
• →Provides patient education through verbal explanation, visual demonstration, or written documentation
• →Complete reporting activities as required by regulatory and departmental standards including but not limited to:

-daily notation of therapy

-all progress reports with updates

-rehabilitation rounds/staff conferences

-other activities that may be assigned form time to time, i.e. splinting

• →Develops and reviews patient care plans in conjunction with Physiatrist
• →Participates in clinical quality assurance initiatives
• →Provides patient education through verbal explanation, visual demonstration, or written documentation
• →Comply with established ESCR , Inc. policies and procedures re: quality assurance, safety, environmental and infection control, confidentiality of patient information, customer service, attendance, punctuality, dress code, professional conduct, annual health assessments etc.
• →Participate in all departmental in-services and staff development activities

• Bachelor’s Degree and/or Master’s/or Doctorate in Physical Therapy with NYS License as a registered Physical Therapist. Must maintain license in good standing.

• Experience in clinical pediatric environment

$85,000/Yr, To $95,000/Yr.
