What We Offer
~1 min readThe Financial Analyst – Product Costing & Quoting supports the development and communication of accurate product costs to assist customer quotations for new products and engineering changes. This entry-level role assists in building cost models, labor estimates, tooling, and capital expenditures; analyzes Bills of Materials (BOMs) and manufacturing processes; and applies foundational financial skills to costing data. The Analyst works cross-functionally with Sales, Engineering, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Assembly, and other teams to support cost analysis and pricing recommendations based on historical data, market insights, and key metrics.
The ideal candidate demonstrates the ability to learn quickly, asks clarification questions and takes a sense of ownership and pride in their work.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Assist in analyzing Bills of Materials (BOMs) to develop product costs, including raw materials, purchased parts, labor, overhead, tooling, and capital for new programs or engineering changes.
- →Build financial models with price/cost sensitivity
- →Calculate sell price at target gross margins
- →Prepare customer quote packages, including piece prices, tooling breakdowns, and price walks from current to future states.
- →Track program margins from launch to completion, highlighting variances from quoted targets.
- →Support development and maintenance of sales forecasts and budgets for assigned products
- →Perform additional duties as assigned
Requirements
~1 min readRequired Qualifications• Four-year college degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field.• 2-4 years of experience • Intermediate Microsoft Excel proficiency (pivot tables, basic financial modeling)• Foundational financial and analytical skills (exposure to make-vs-buy analysis).• Good communication skills for team collaborationDemonstrates a strong desire to learn and continuously improve, and responds with a clear sense of urgency when needed
Preferred Qualifications• Experience in product costing or manufacturing• Automotive industry exposure• Foreign language skills in Spanish
