Responsibilities

~1 min read- →Provide excellent health care for our patients. Patients should achieve good outcomes and be happy with their experience of occupational therapy.
- →Help them recover from injury, manage pain, and restore mobility. Understand their current medical and emotional situations..
- →Educate patients on treatment options, home exercises, and strategies to prevent re-injury.
- →Supervise and guide Techs during patient care setup and cleanup.
- →Use evidence-based pain management techniques to improve function.
- →Provide patients with strategies for long-term success.
- →Document progress notes accurately and on time.
- →Achieve a reasonable level of productivity. This depends on the number of referrals and the type of patient presenting.
- →Participate in clinic research projects and protocol development.
- →Stay current on best practices through in-house CEUs and continuing education.
Requirements
~1 min read- Associates Degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Valid Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant license (or eligibility to obtain).
- Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- Passion for patient care and measurable outcomes.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
