Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

• →Escorts patients to and from exam rooms and readies them for physicians; takes vital signs, records medical history/symptoms, ensures medical chart/lab test results are available and complete
• →Prepare patients for and assist with examination or treatments
• →Communicates to patients and office coordinators follow-up appointments, ancillary and/or pre-operative testing and scheduling needed for patient
• →Provides education and information to patients and family members
• →Consults with other specialties and disciplines as appropriate to meet all health care needs of patients
• →Uses organizational skills to effectively complete assignments in timely manner
• →Cleans and stocks all patient examination rooms; cleans and prepares instruments for procedures; keeps list of needed medical supplies
• →Completes paperwork such as ordering lab tests, x-rays, school/work notes, FMLA, etc.
• →Counsels’ patients concerning lifestyle modifications, medication regimens, side effects, and interactions using an appropriate psychosocial communication level
• →Understand and enforce standard health care regulatory requirements
• →Perform office procedures including all general administrative duties
• →Document Electronic Medical Record (EMR) all medical interventions
• →Assure HIPAA and OSHA compliance

• Current license to practice as an LPN
• Current CPR certification
• An Associate's or bachelor’s degree, or higher
• Excellent customer service skills with a commitment to delivering excellent, passionate, innovative care
