Responsibilities

Assure appropriate selection, dosing, administration and monitoring of medication orders under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.

→Review, verify and enter physician orders into the patient medication profile.
→Manage medication therapy protocols as a part of physician-pharmacist-nurse team.
→Compound and dispense medications accurately for delivery to patient care areas.
→Provide medication information and education to medical staff and patients.

Responsibilities

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

→Registered Pharmacist credentialed from the Alabama Board of Pharmacy obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

→Enrolled OR graduate of an accredited Pharmacy degree program
