About the Role

We are seeking high-energy, customer-focused individuals to join our team as Entry-Level Pre-30 Collections Specialists. This role is ideal for candidates who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about helping customers find solutions. Successful candidates will have strong communication skills and a demonstrated ability to take on increasing responsibilities and grow within their previous roles.

 

  • High-energy, motivated, and positive attitude
  • Experience in customer-facing roles (in-person and/or phone-based)
  • Demonstrated career growth, promotions, or increased responsibilities in prior positions
  • Backgrounds that translate well into this role include:
    • Warehouse environments (with strong customer service mindset)
    • Retail
    • Restaurant (fast food or fast-casual)
    • Call center/customer service

Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures, as well as FDCPA regulations.
  • Negotiate payment arrangements with borrowers, offering solutions and alternative payment options.
  • Work with customers to develop strategies that help them retain their vehicle while meeting loan obligations.
  • Accurately and professionally document all account activity and communications.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred.
  • 1+ year of experience in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment required.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and apply federal, state, and local collections regulations.
  • Professional, tactful, and empathetic approach when interacting with customers.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Flexible schedule availability, including overtime as needed.
  • High School Diploma or GED a plus.
