Senior Specialist Donor CDL

Under the supervision of department leadership, proficiently performs phlebotomy collection of whole blood and apheresis products. Interacts with donors and coordinators to provide a high level of customer service while delivering an excellent donation experience. Demonstrates sensitivity and understands the customers' perspective. Fosters a collaborative/team working spirit and actively helps and supports others to achieve team goals. Contributes positively to the achievement of team objectives. Responsible for driving the mobile drive vehicle and transporting the mobile staff in a safe and efficient manner. In addition to these responsibilities, the Senior Specialist Donor CDL plays an essential role in promoting and maintaining a collaborative and respectful team culture and contributes to a strong and engaging employee experience. • Knowledge, typically acquired through specialized training, is required for the application of practical methods and techniques, work procedures and processes and/or proficiency in the specialized use of materials, equipment, and tools. required
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as Standard Operating Procedures, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and other department manuals. required
• Must be proficient in at least one apheresis skill (Alyx or Trima) AND in precepting required
• Must have basic mathematical aptitude and strong attention to detail. required
• Ability to apply judgment to written or oral instructions. required
