- Exposure to both conventional and integrative veterinary medicine
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Assist veterinarians during exams, appointments, and procedures
- →Provide client education and communicate treatment plans
- →Perform venipuncture and assist with laboratory diagnostics
- →Process lab work and manage pharmacy prescription refills
- →Assist with radiology and imaging procedures
- →Support surgical and dental procedures (experience a plus)
- →Contribute to patient care using low-stress handling techniques
- →Maintain accurate medical records and support daily hospital operations
- →Work with advanced services including ultrasound, echocardiograms, acupuncture, rehabilitation, and therapeutic laser treatments
- Previous experience as a Veterinary Assistant or Certified Veterinary Technician
- Strong communication and client service skills
- Positive, outgoing, and compassionate personality
- Detail-oriented approach to patient care
- Willingness to learn and grow professionally
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multi-doctor environment
- Surgery and dental experience is a plus
- Commitment to high-quality veterinary medicine and patient care
