Wauwatosa Veterinary Clinic is seeking an experienced Veterinary Assistant or Certified Veterinary Technician to join a dedicated, multi-doctor, AAHA-accredited team committed to exceptional patient care and client service. Responsibilities

→Assist veterinarians during exams, appointments, and procedures
→Provide client education and communicate treatment plans
→Perform venipuncture and assist with laboratory diagnostics
→Process lab work and manage pharmacy prescription refills
→Assist with radiology and imaging procedures
→Support surgical and dental procedures (experience a plus)
→Contribute to patient care using low-stress handling techniques
→Maintain accurate medical records and support daily hospital operations
→Work with advanced services including ultrasound, echocardiograms, acupuncture, rehabilitation, and therapeutic laser treatments

Previous experience as a Veterinary Assistant or Certified Veterinary Technician
Strong communication and client service skills
Positive, outgoing, and compassionate personality
Detail-oriented approach to patient care
Willingness to learn and grow professionally
Ability to work collaboratively in a multi-doctor environment
Surgery and dental experience is a plus
Commitment to high-quality veterinary medicine and patient care
