Responsibilities

  • Assist veterinarians with exams, procedures, and patient care
  • Perform venipuncture, IV catheter placement, fluid therapy, and medication administration
  • Monitor anesthesia and support surgical preparation and recovery
  • Conduct technician appointments and obtain patient histories
  • Care for hospitalized patients, including treatments, vitals, and monitoring
  • Maintain accurate medical records and hospitalization charts
  • Prepare surgical suites, instruments, and equipment
  • Ensure clinic cleanliness, stocking, and organization at all times
  • Strong technical skills and knowledge of patient care procedures
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to support others
  • Attention to detail and commitment to high standards of care
  • Professional communication skills with clients and team members
  • Willingness to complete training and continuously improve skills
