Aloha Affordable Veterinary Services is looking for a Veterinary Technician or Veterinary Assistant to join our compassionate, hard-working team! Predictable rotating four-day work week
Monday through Friday schedule with no weekends
Opportunities to participate in community outreach and rescue efforts

Assist veterinarians during examinations, treatments, surgeries, and procedures
Obtain patient histories and maintain accurate medical records
Perform venipuncture, laboratory sample collection, and in-house diagnostics
Administer medications and treatments as directed
Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures
Safely restrain patients using compassionate, low-stress handling techniques
Educate clients on medications, treatments, and preventive care
Collaborate with the veterinary team to provide exceptional patient care
Help maintain a clean, organized, and efficient hospital environment

Current Licensed Veterinary Technician credential preferred, or at least one year of previous veterinary assistant or animal care experience
Strong communication and client service skills
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Basic understanding of animal behavior and patient care
Compassion for pets, clients, and teammates
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently while also thriving as part of a collaborative team
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and safely handle larger patients when needed
