• →Support veterinarians in providing high-quality, compassionate medical care
• →Assist with examinations, diagnostics, treatments, and procedures
• →Safely handle and restrain patients using fear-free and low-stress techniques
• →Anticipate the needs of DVMs to support smooth, efficient patient care
• →Collect and prepare diagnostic samples as appropriate
• →Administer medications and treatments under veterinarian direction
• →Assist with surgical preparation, anesthesia, monitoring, and patient recovery as appropriate to your training and skill level
• →Educate clients about preventive care, treatments, medications, and their pets’ ongoing health needs
• →Communicate clearly and compassionately with pet owners
• →Maintain complete and accurate patient medical records
• →Collaborate closely with fellow technicians, veterinarians, and support team members
• →Contribute to a positive, uplifting hospital environment

• Veterinary technician experience or appropriate veterinary technician credentials
• Passion for animal welfare and the human-animal bond
