To qualify for the role, you must have 2+ years supporting an ERP or financial/project controls system (e.g. project cost, billing, AP/AR, GL) in construction or project-based environment.
We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled Software Specialist in the areas of Accounting and Project Cost Accounting to join the Walbridge team. In this role you will be responsible for having knowledge of Project Cost Accounting functions (project budgeting, project billing, change tracking, invoicing) and General Accounting functions (accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger). This position works as the liaison between IT and the Project Cost and Accounting departments. For Project Cost Accounting, responsible for training and coaching the Operations team. For both Project Cost Accounting and Accounting, responsible for troubleshooting issues with the software and rolling out new functionality.

- →Deploy New Processes: When new functionality becomes available, thoroughly research and present to both departments for use on existing and future projects.
- →Software Specialist: Prepare and actively participate in the upgrades to the system. This entails testing new and existing functionality for the roll out.

~1 min read- 2+ years supporting an ERP or financial/project controls system (e.g. project cost, billing, AP/AR, GL) in construction or project-based environment.
- Working knowledge of job cost/cost controls concepts (budgets, commitments, cost-to-complete/forecasting, change management, billing/invoicing).
- Comfortable working with all levels and functions in a constructive fashion to achieve organizational objectives.
- Effective communication and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of Project Control Systems and processes.
- Knowledge of procurement, contracts, and construction management.
- Knowledge of general Accounting and processes.
- Prior experience with CMiC Accounting software.
- Self-motivation as well as self-starting.
- Ability to travel to other offices and job sites.
