The Community Food Access Coordinator coordinates the planning, implementation, and continuous improvement of Fulfill’s direct food distribution programs in Monmouth and Ocean Counties.
Fulfill, the FoodBank of Monmouth and Ocean Counties, has been dedicated to addressing hunger in the Jersey Shore community since 1984. Our mission is to accelerate food security throughout Monmouth & Ocean Counties by leading a collaborative movement that connects people to food and related resources while also addressing systemic barriers to self-sufficiency and well-being. Fulfill proudly works with a network of nearly 300 partners, including soup kitchens, food pantries and shelters to provide 1.3 million meals per month to more than 130,000 families, children, seniors and veterans in need. Committed to more than just food distribution, Fulfill also offers connections to affordable healthcare options, Medicaid, SNAP and other services to help neighbors lead healthy lives with the food they need to thrive.
Our headquarters is in Neptune with a satellite branch (The BEAT Center) in Toms River.
The Community Food Access Coordinator coordinates the planning, implementation, and continuous improvement of Fulfill’s direct food distribution programs in Monmouth and Ocean Counties. This role ensures that Mobile Pantry, Pop-the-Trunk, and Senior Staples (CSFP) programs are delivered with operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and a strong commitment to dignity, accessibility, and neighbor-centered service.
Working collaboratively across departments and with community partners, the Community Food Access Coordinator balances hands-on program coordination with administrative, data, and relationship management responsibilities to ensure food access services reach communities with the greatest need.

~1 min read- →Coordinate and support day-to-day operations of Mobile Pantry, Pop-the-Trunk, and Senior Staples distributions, including scheduling, ordering, documentation, data entry and logistics
- →Monitor operations of direct distribution programs to ensure efficiency, safety, cultural responsiveness, and a positive neighbor experience.
- →Ensure accurate, timely data entry and maintenance in Ceres and other program databases.
- →Contribute to internal reports and audits, as needed.
- →Support evaluation efforts by tracking program metrics and outcomes and review program data for accuracy, trends, and service gaps
- →Manage site agreements (MOUs) and annual certification/recertification processes.
- →Ensure compliance with Fulfill, Feeding America, and food safety standards at all distribution sites.
- →Coordinate corrective actions and follow-up when compliance issues arise
- →Develop and update program manuals, and coordinate training for site coordinators and volunteers.
- →Build and sustain positive relationships with host sites, community partners, and volunteers through consistent communication and collaborative problem-solving.
- →Gather feedback from neighbors and partners to inform program improvements.
- →In partnership with the Network Engagement Team, identify emerging community needs and opportunities for service expansion.
- →Collaborate with Food Sourcing and Operations to ensure appropriate food quality, quantity, and delivery.
- →Connect neighbors to additional Fulfill programs, including SNAP and Nutrition Education.
- →Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
~1 min read- Minimum 2 years’ experience in nonprofit and/or client services.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Strong data entry, database management, and reporting skills.
- Experience engaging with diverse cultures and communities.
- Program design, implementation, and evaluation skills, including performance metrics and outcome assessment.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (for offsite work).
- Safe Food Handling certification (within 90 days of hire).
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
- Occasional evening and weekend availability required
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and timeliness.
- Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.

$19.25 - $23.25
