CARE Communities is seeking a Property Manager to play a key role in supporting affordable housing communities throughout Northern Colorado. This position balances property operations, compliance requirements, and resident relations to help ensure safe, stable, and thriving communities.


CARE Communities is a private, nonprofit affordable housing development and property management organization based in Fort Collins, Colorado. Position Overview

Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.

The Property Manager oversees the day-to-day operations of assigned affordable housing communities in the Fort Collins and Windsor area, including resident relations, compliance activities, rent collection, property inspections, leasing functions, and coordination of maintenance activities.


Compensation & Benefits

Hiring Range: $22.00–$25.00 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience.

What You'll Do

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of assigned affordable housing communities
  • Administer resident certifications, recertifications, compliance requirements, and resident files
  • Manage rent collection, lease administration, delinquency tracking, and resident relations
  • Coordinate maintenance requests, inspections, preventative maintenance, and unit turns
  • Maintain accurate records, prepare required documentation, and support audits and regulatory reviews
  • Collaborate with residents, team members, and community partners to support housing stability and operational effectiveness


Qualifications

  • Affordable housing, property management, leasing, housing services, customer service, or related experience preferred
  • Experience working directly with residents, tenants, customers, or community members
  • Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; Yardi experience preferred
  • Valid Colorado Driver License and proof of insurance required
  • Affordable housing or property management certifications such as HCCP, COS, CAM, ARM, or similar credentials are preferred but not required
