Home Health Caregiver

CareOne Senior Care is seeking a dependable and compassionate caregiver to provide non-medical in-home support to a client in Rochester Hills, Michigan.

This position offers a consistent weekday morning schedule and is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys providing companionship, assisting with daily activities, and helping clients remain safe and comfortable in their home.

Caregiver responsibilities may include:

• →Providing companionship and engaging the client in appropriate activities
• →Assisting with safe mobility and transfers
• →Providing gait belt assistance as needed
• →Assisting with wheelchair mobility and positioning
• →Providing personal care, including brief changes as needed
• →Completing light housekeeping related to the client's care
• →Accompanying the client to physical therapy appointments when scheduled
• →Maintaining a safe and comfortable environment
• →Communicating client needs and observations to the appropriate family member and CareOne Senior Care team
• →Following the client's established care plan and company policies

A family member will be present in the home and available to provide support as needed.

We are looking for someone who is:

• Dependable, punctual, and responsible
• Compassionate and professional
• Comfortable providing hands-on personal care
• Comfortable assisting with wheelchair mobility
• Comfortable using a gait belt
• Able to work independently in a client's home
• A strong communicator
• Able to follow care instructions and document care appropriately
• Previous caregiving or home care experience is preferred

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must meet CareOne Senior Care's hiring requirements
• Must successfully complete a criminal background check
• Must have reliable transportation to and from the client's home
• Must be able to consistently work Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–12:00 PM
• Must have a current TB test or be willing to complete one before starting
