You won't just maintain connections — you will engineer the workflows that power global trade.
This role is designed for a technical generalist or specialist who bridges the gap between structured enterprise integration and modern software development. You will have a unique opportunity to take part in customer onboarding projects, optimize our middleware infrastructure, and actively shape how we apply Artificial Intelligence (AI) to automate mapping, parse complex data schemas, and orchestrate intelligent data pipelines.

- Design & Implement Integrations: Architect, build, and support robust EDI and API integrations connecting our internal platforms with global clients, partners, and systems.
- Orchestrate Smart Workflows: Design and optimize scalable data pipelines, ensuring highly efficient, transactional, and resilient data exchange.
- Pioneer AI in Integrations: Actively identify, test, and implement AI/ML tools and automated workflows to accelerate mapping generation, format translation, and automated error handling.
- Lead Customer Roll-outs: Take ownership of integration projects from kick off to go-live, collaborating closely with client IT teams to ensure smooth and timely onboardings.
- Middleware & Mapping Management: Configure and manage state-of-the-art integration platforms and middleware (experience with Seeburger BIS, Lobster_data, Axway, IBM Sterling, Boomi, or similar is nice to have).
- Education: A successfully completed degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable technical field OR strong affinity for IT and logistics/supply chain networks.
- Professional Experience:
- hands-on experience in integration space OR software engineering background
- Technical /Software Engineering & Data Skills:
- Familiarity with database technologies (MariaDB, PostgreSQL) and experience in data querying and extraction techniques (e.g. SQL, XPath, Regex).
- Data Manipulation Expertise: practical experience in data manipulation, cleansing, parsing, and transforming structured and semi-structured datasets (e.g., CSV, flat files, XML, JSON).
- Understanding of REST API & Integration Standards: proficiency with RESTful architectures, JSON/XML web services, and API specifications (such as OpenAPI/Swagger, YAML).
- Understanding of secure integration concepts, including OAuth, token-based authentication, and API gateway management.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git, BitBucket or similar

- Innovative attitude: Highly motivated to apply AI, modern automation frameworks, and LLMs to revolutionize traditional data translation and workflow orchestration.
- Excellent Communicator: Fluent in English, with the ability to translate complex technical requirements to clients and business stakeholders alike.

- Innovative Tech Stack: Work with robust enterprise middleware (Lobster Data Platform) alongside cutting-edge, AI integration platform (Gemini, Claude Code…).
