We are seeking experienced clinicians to join Carrot's telemedicine clinical contractor network. In this part-time, remote role, you will provide high-quality, evidence-based virtual consultations to Carrot members in one or more of the following clinical areas:
- Menopause & Perimenopause — supporting members through perimenopause, menopause, and post-menopause with guideline-aligned care per The Menopause Society (ACOG).
- Low Testosterone & Men's Health — supporting members assigned male at birth experiencing testosterone deficiency, sexual health concerns, and related metabolic and urologic issues per AUA and Endocrine Society guidelines.
- Early Fertility Support — guiding members who are trying to conceive through initial fertility evaluation, preconception optimization, ovulation support, and appropriate referral to reproductive specialists, following ACOG and ASRM evidence-based guidelines.
Your clinical focus will be matched to your licensure, certification, and area of expertise. Candidates with experience in both areas are especially encouraged to apply. You will work collaboratively with Carrot's clinical and operational teams to deliver an exceptional member experience across multiple U.S. states.
Responsibilities

- →Provide virtual telemedicine consultations (video/phone) for fertility, menopause/perimenopause, and low testosterone/men’s health concerns, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and follow-up care.
- →Deliver evidence-based, guideline-aligned care using ACOG, ASRM, The Menopause Society, AUA, and Endocrine Society standards within a telemedicine scope of practice.
- →Order, review, and interpret labs; manage medications and treatment plans; and coordinate appropriate referrals for higher-acuity or in-person care needs.
- →Document clinical visits accurately and efficiently in Carrot systems, including treatment plans, monitoring protocols, informed consent, and member education.
- →Utilize inclusive, trauma-informed, and culturally sensitive communication to support a diverse member population, including LGBTQ+ individuals and complex care cases.
- →Partner cross-functionally with Carrot clinical and operational teams while adhering to established protocols, escalation pathways, quality standards, and safety guidelines.
- →Maintain active licensure, credentialing, and compliance with multi-state telemedicine regulations, continuing education, and specialty certifications as applicable.
- →Contribute to a high-quality member experience through strong virtual bedside manner, participation in quality assurance activities, and ongoing engagement with emerging clinical research and best practices
Requirements
~2 min readYou are a U.S.-licensed clinician in one of the following, with demonstrated expertise in early fertility support, menopause, low testosterone/men's health, or both:
- MD or DO in Obstetrics/Gynecology, Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility (REI), Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Urology, or Endocrinology
- Physician Assistant (PA) with relevant clinical experience in women's hormonal health or men's health
- Advanced Practice Registered Nurse or Nurse Practitioner (e.g., WHNP, adult/gerontology NP, FNP, or equivalent) with demonstrated expertise in the applicable clinical area
- Clinical experience spanning both early fertility, menopause and low testosterone / men's health, enabling flexible journey coverage across Carrot's member population.
- Experience working in a dedicated menopause clinic, men's health/urology center of excellence, or comparable specialty program.
- Familiarity with early fertility workup including AMH testing, ovulation induction, and preconception optimization, as well as appropriate escalation to in-person ART evaluation.
- Obesity medicine training, ABOM certification,or experience with metabolic health support is a significant plus.
- Prior experience practicing in digital health, health benefits, or multi-state telemedicine environments.
- Experience contributing to clinical protocol development, quality improvement, or member-facing clinical content.
- Experience supporting diverse and/or historically underserved populations, including LGBTQ+ and gender-diverse individuals.
- Additional clinical scope in areas such as metabolic health, fertility, reproductive endocrinology, or other family-forming specialties is a plus.
- Fluency in an additional language is a plus.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, remote setting with evolving workflows and openness to occasional meetings or training sessions outside of direct patient care
