Carthage College Department of History (www.carthage.edu/history) invites applications for part-time instructors to teach an introductory course in American History, any period, any specialization. The course will be taught in Spring 2026, with the possibility of teaching in the following year.

Required Qualifications:

Candidates must hold a master's degree in History or a closely related field. A PhD or ABD in History is preferred. While previous teaching experience is desired, we also look forward to the opportunity of mentoring applicants without significant experience.
