The Director of Older Adult Services provides strategic leadership and oversight for CASL's continuum of programs and services supporting older adults. This role is responsible for ensuring high-quality, culturally responsive services that promote independence, dignity, health, and well-being. Through operational excellence, community partnerships, and program innovation, the Director advances sustainable growth and meaningful impact for older adults and their families.

This position offers a salary range of $120,000 – $130,000 annually, reflective of experience and qualifications.

As the Director of Older Adult Services, you will lead the performance, growth, and integration of Adult Day Services, In-Home Services, EverPine Care, and Pine Tree Senior Council initiatives. You will strengthen service delivery, develop strategic partnerships, and drive operational and financial performance to ensure older adults and their families have access to high-quality, culturally responsive support. Your leadership will expand community impact, enhance program sustainability, and help older adults age with dignity, independence, and connection.

Develop and implement long-term service strategies that support organizational priorities, community needs, and financial sustainability.

Identify opportunities for innovation, service expansion, and program integration that strengthen CASL's continuum of care for older adults.

Oversee daily operations across Older Adult Services to ensure high-quality, efficient, and culturally responsive service delivery.

Establish and monitor key performance indicators related to enrollment, utilization, workforce productivity, financial performance, and participant outcomes.

Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, funder, and regulatory requirements, including Illinois Department on Aging Community Care Program standards.

Lead the launch, growth, and long-term sustainability of EverPine Care as a competitive private-pay service offering.

Develop service models, pricing strategies, customer experience standards, and community outreach initiatives that support revenue growth and market expansion.

Provide leadership, coaching, and performance oversight to program leaders and staff while fostering accountability, collaboration, and professional growth.

Develop workforce strategies that support recruitment, retention, training, succession planning, and employee engagement.

Create a culture of continuous improvement that aligns with CASL's mission, values, and commitment to exceptional service delivery.

Build and maintain strategic partnerships with healthcare providers, community organizations, referral sources, and other stakeholders to expand service access and impact.

Collaborate closely with Behavioral Health, Physical Health Services, Community Engagement, and other internal stakeholders to advance integrated service delivery, care coordination, and positive outcomes for older adults.

Develop and manage departmental budgets, financial forecasts, and resource allocation to support organizational goals and long-term sustainability.

Monitor financial performance and identify opportunities for revenue growth, operational efficiencies, and responsible resource management across service lines.

Represent CASL in external partnerships, coalitions, industry groups, and community forums related to aging services and healthcare integration.

Promote equitable, culturally responsive, and person-centered services that reflect the diverse communities CASL serves and strengthen CASL's reputation as a trusted community resource.

To thrive in this role, you should have:

Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in Public Health, Social Work, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred.

Minimum 8–10 years of progressive leadership experience in aging services, home care, healthcare, or a related field.

Demonstrated experience leading large-scale, multi-site programs with significant operational, financial, and staff management responsibilities.

Strong understanding of home and community-based services, including Medicaid-funded programs such as the Illinois Community Care Program (CCP).

Strong understanding of Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) requirements, processes, and systems.

Proven ability to lead, develop, and hold teams accountable while fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and high performance.

Demonstrated strategic thinking skills, with the ability to balance operational demands, navigate complex challenges, and drive long-term organizational goals.

Proven ability to lead organizational change, manage competing priorities, and successfully implement new initiatives or service models.

Strong interpersonal, relationship-building, and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage employees, participants, families, community partners, and healthcare stakeholders.

Experience launching, growing, or scaling private-pay service lines, new programs, or business initiatives.

Knowledge of healthcare integration models and experience building partnerships with healthcare providers, managed care organizations, and community-based organizations.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with the ability to utilize data to inform strategy, operational improvements, and business decisions.

Experience using Salesforce, CRM platforms, or similar data management systems to support program operations, reporting, and decision-making.

Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook.

Demonstrated commitment to serving diverse, immigrant, and older adult communities through culturally responsive and person-centered approaches.

Work is performed during the hours of 8:00 am to 6:00 pm in 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday

Must be flexible and available to work after regular business hours when necessary (e.g., weekends and evening periods)

In-person with limited hybrid flexibility (1–2 days remote/week, as approved)
