Clinical Reviewer

We are seeking a detail-oriented and clinically knowledgeable Clinical Reviewer to review RN assessment documentation for accuracy, completeness, and errors. The reviewer will approve assessments or return them to RNs for revisions and will complete required data entry after approval.

This is a non-patient-facing role that requires strong clinical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with nursing staff.

This position is remote and offers you the flexibility of working from home.

• →Review RN assessment documentation for accuracy, completeness, consistency, and errors.
• →Identify missing or incorrect information and communicate revision requests to RNs.
• →Approve assessments that meet established quality and documentation requirements.
• →Follow up with RNs to ensure requested revisions are completed accurately and timely.
• →Review assessments using RN PAD, with training provided.
• →Complete required data entry in HHA Exchange after assessments are approved.
• →Maintain accurate and timely documentation while following established workflows and quality standards.
• →Communicate effectively with RNs and internal team members regarding assessment reviews.
• →Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive healthcare information.

• Registered Nurse with similar experience
• Strong understanding of medical terminology and healthcare documentation.
• Experience reviewing clinical assessments, medical records, or healthcare documentation preferred.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify errors, inconsistencies, and missing information.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to provide clear and professional feedback to RNs.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining accuracy and productivity.
• Comfortable learning new technology and healthcare systems.
• EMR or clinical documentation system experience preferred; experience with RN PAD or HHA Exchange is a plus.

You will need to have some essential tools – a reliable computer and noise-cancelling headset, a second monitor for enhanced productivity, and a stable internet connection. You’ll also be required to have a backup internet connection, ensuring that you’re well-equipped to complete your work seamlessly.
