Responsibilities

· Design, implement, and optimize all operational workflows across the telehealth organization.

· Build scalable processes to support rapid growth while maintaining exceptional patient and provider experiences.

· Develop and oversee key performance indicators (KPIs), dashboards, and operational reporting.

· Establish operational infrastructure, policies, procedures, and best practices from the ground up.

· Identify operational bottlenecks and implement solutions that improve efficiency and profitability.

· Partner with executive leadership to develop and execute strategic growth initiatives.

· Support business expansion efforts including new service lines, provider recruitment, and market growth.

· Build operational frameworks capable of supporting significant increases in patient volume and provider capacity.

· Drive initiatives that contribute to revenue growth, margin improvement, and EBITDA expansion.

· Lead cross-functional projects focused on scalability and organizational effectiveness.

· Oversee daily operations of the telehealth practice, ensuring seamless patient care delivery.

· Manage provider onboarding, credentialing, scheduling, and performance management processes.

· Develop staffing models to support growth while maintaining operational efficiency.

· Monitor patient satisfaction, access metrics, and service quality standards.

· Collaborate with clinical leadership to optimize provider productivity and patient outcomes.

· Evaluate, implement, and optimize telehealth platforms, EHR systems, CRM tools, and operational technologies.

· Lead technology integrations that improve workflow efficiency and patient engagement.

· Partner with vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure system performance and scalability.

· Utilize data analytics to drive operational and business decisions.

· Develop operational budgets and monitor performance against financial targets.

· Analyze operational metrics to identify opportunities for revenue enhancement and cost optimization.

· Support forecasting, workforce planning, and resource allocation activities.

· Drive initiatives that improve operational efficiency and contribute to EBITDA growth.

· Ensure compliance with state and federal healthcare regulations, telehealth requirements, HIPAA, and payer guidelines.

· Establish quality assurance programs and operational audits.

· Maintain readiness for regulatory reviews and accreditation requirements.

· Implement risk management and compliance monitoring processes.

Requirements

· Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Public Health, or related field, or extremely well-aligned experienced.

· 7+ years of healthcare operations leadership experience.

· 3+ years of telehealth leadership experience.

· Demonstrated experience helping build a telehealth startup from early-stage operations through rapid growth.

· Proven track record of scaling healthcare operations and driving substantial revenue growth.

· Experience creating operational infrastructure, workflows, and SOPs from the ground up.

· Strong understanding of telehealth regulations, payer models, credentialing, and provider operations.

· Experience managing cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

· Advanced analytical and financial acumen with experience managing operational budgets and KPIs.

· Master's degree (MBA, MHA, MPH, or related field).

· Experience growing a telehealth organization from startup phase to a mature, highly profitable business.

· Demonstrated success contributing to 10X growth in revenue, patient volume, or EBITDA.

· Experience with multi-state telehealth operations.

· Background in venture-backed healthcare startups or high-growth healthcare organizations.

· Able to provide VOC and collaborate with technical teams re. EHR, CRM, and telehealth technology platforms.

· Familiarity with value-based care, virtual care models, and digital health innovation.
