Activities Director

Brookside Senior Living, a Cassia community, is hiring an Activities Director to join our team!  At Brookside Senior Living, you’ll work in a supportive, team-oriented environment where your skills are valued, and your contributions make a meaningful difference for our residents.  This is a great opportunity to grow in a healthcare setting. In this important role, you will manage a team of activity professionals, plan, and conduct fun and exciting activities for our residents.  Our ideal candidate is self-motivated with a genuine concern for our residents' well-being and has a creative personality and positive attitude.

Position Type: Part-Time or Full-Time, benefits eligible position working a varying schedule including some weekends

Wage Range: $21 - $26 /hour depending on experience

Bonus: $1,500

Activities Director Responsibilities:

• Create and schedule Activities calendar for residents and administer these activities.
• Promote physical exercise, social interaction, emotional support and involvement.
• Prepare monthly newsletter for residents and family members.
• Oversee Activities Assistants.
• Perform additional tasks as needed.

• One year of Activities experience.
• Is compassionate, motivated, and a self-starter.
• Desire to work with seniors in an assisted living setting.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability to meet physical requirements of the job.
• Functional knowledge of computer hardware and software.
• Ability to respect confidentiality of resident information.
• Ability to manage diverse individuals and multiple priorities at once.
