Responsibilities

Vendor invoice verification and registration in accordance with internal procedures and legal requirements
→
General ledger and subledger AP related accounts analysis, maintenance, and reconciliation
→
Preparing and executing payments in accordance with internal procedures and timelines
→
Outgoing payments allocation and reconciliation
→
Responding to internal and external inquiries related to payables and payments
→
Vendor Master Data maintenance
→
Posting and calculating accruals, prepayments, and other accounting entries related to suppliers
→
Cooperating with external auditors and providing all necessary documentation for audit purposes
→
Participating in internal projects aimed at improving financial and operational processes
→
Participating in activities related to month end closing process
→
Actively participating in creating, updating, and improving process documentation
→
Training new team members if need be and providing ongoing support to the team
→
Preparing internal KPI statistics (internal reporting initiatives)
→
Ensure compliance with policies and procedures
→
Active cooperation with other departments, company units and trading partners

Requirements

BA degree preferably in accounting and/or finance (correlated areas such as business administration, economics, etc. will also be considered as a plus)
3+ years of accounting experience
Good knowledge of MS Excel (ERP Systems such as SAP or MS Dynamics D365 will be an advantage)
Proactive attitude aimed at problem solving, resilience, and persistence
Ability to work in a structured, analytical, and careful manner, paying attention to details and the quality of the work and results
Ability to work under pressure
High degree of independence, flexibility as well as communication and teamwork skills
Good command of spoken and written English (other European languages will be an advantage)
