About the Role
The Assistant Principal works in partnership with the Principal to drive school improvement, support staff in delivering evidence-based teaching, and ensure high expectations for student learning. A strong focus on wellbeing and community engagement is central to this role, as is the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, families, and the wider community. The Assistant Principal is both a leader of learning and a role model of our Catholic faith, guiding the school with integrity, collaboration, and care.

Qualifications and Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor or Master of Teaching.
- Postgraduate qualification in Religious Education or Theological Studies or the willingness to undertake.
- Academic qualifications additional to initial teacher education (Master’s Degree or five-year equivalent).
- Practicing Catholic connected to a worshipping community supported by a written reference from the Parish Priest.
- ACT Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) clearance.
- ACT Teacher Quality Institute (TQI) registration.
- Accreditation E in accordance with the Accreditation to Work, Teach and Lead in Catholic Education, Canberra and Goulburn Policy.
