About the Role
~1 min readThe Assistant Principal supports the Principal in leading St. Vincent’s Primary School Aranda, providing leadership in wellbeing, pastoral care, curriculum, and professional learning to foster a thriving school community. The Assistant Principal supports the staff in delivering evidence-based teaching and fostering high expectations for student learning. A strong focus on wellbeing and community engagement is central to this role, as is the ability to build positive relationships with students, the staff, families, and the wider community. The Assistant Principal is both a leader of learning and a role model of our Catholic faith, guiding the school with integrity, collaboration and care.

~1 min read- Bachelor or Master of Teaching
- Postgraduate qualification in Religious Education or Theological Studies
- Academic qualifications additional to initial teacher education (Master’s Degree or five-year equivalent)
- Practicing Catholic connected to a worshipping community supported by a written reference from the Parish Priest.
- ACT Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) clearance
- ACT Teacher Quality Institute (TQI) registration
- Accreditation E in accordance with the Accreditation to Work, Teach and Lead in Catholic Education, Canberra and Goulburn Policy
