About the Role
~1 min readThe Classroom Teacher delivers engaging, purposeful, and differentiated lessons using approved teaching strategies and high-quality resources aligned with the curriculum. They create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that supports both academic achievement and student well-being. Through ongoing assessment and timely, constructive feedback, they monitor progress and adapt their teaching to meet the diverse needs of all learners. The teacher maintains accurate and thorough records of student development and works in partnership with colleagues and families to foster strong, supportive relationships. Catholic Archdiocese of Canberra and Goulburn Education Limited (CACGEL) is committed to supporting professional excellence. Teachers have the opportunity to engage in ongoing learning and development that enhances practice and upholds accreditation and professional standards.
This appointment is temporary to replace an employee who is on parental leave. The incumbent is entitled to return earlier to their substantive position in accordance with the Fair Work Act 2009.
