Senior Cloud Software Engineer (.NET)

We are seeking an exceptional Senior Software Engineer with a strong .NET focus to join our growing Cloud Native Applications team. 

Our immediate client needs require deep expertise in modernizing and building applications with .NET Framework, modern .NET, and C#. However, this is a broader software engineering role, not a position where you will work exclusively in .NET. Over time, you will have opportunities to work across different languages, frameworks, cloud-native architectures, and AI-enabled software solutions based on the needs of our customers and your interests.

The right candidate is someone who has deep curiosity and expertise in designing and building applications with .NET Framework and .NET (formerly Core), creating AI-first software solutions, and is passionate about working with our customers, partners, and colleagues to drive innovation forward.

Your mission will be to work alongside Caylent’s Software teams, Sales, and Project Managers to deliver AWS solutions across our diverse and forward-thinking customer base. You’ll be hands-on with the latest technologies and support customers looking to bring cutting-edge ideas to market.

• Collaborate as a member of software development teams to deliver production-ready client solutions, with an initial focus on .NET modernization.
• Work with the Lead Architect to review technical requirements, contribute to technical decision making, and deliver working software to clients.
• Participate in discovery sessions to gather customer requirements.
• Follow architecture decisions and adhere to the solution design created by the Lead Architect.
• Create, automate, and refine multiple levels of AI-driven testing.
• Collaborate with lead software architects, project managers, peers, and leaders to deliver value to clients.
• Expand your experience across additional languages, frameworks, AWS services, and AI technologies as customer engagements evolve.

• Ability and interest in working with additional languages, frameworks, or application architectures on future projects

• Learning and building with AI both for productivity and for enhancing client solutions.
• Familiarity and experience with AWS cloud services.
• Familiarity with additional modern languages or frameworks such as Python, Node.js, React, TypeScript.
• Experience contributing and delivering on client-facing customer engagements.
• Experience with: UX/UI, LLMs, AgentCore, GenAI, automated testing, CI/CD, IaC
