Part Time ESE Instructional Assistant at Bishop Larkin Catholic School

Bishop Larkin Catholic School is seeking a caring, patient, and dedicated Instructional Assistant to support students with exceptional learning needs in a faith-filled school environment. This position focuses on assisting students with diverse academic, behavioral, and developmental needs while helping them grow spiritually, socially, and academically to fulfill our mission statement.

• →Support classroom teachers in providing instruction and accommodations for students with unique learning needs.
• →Work one-on-one or in small groups for remediation, skill-building, and enrichment
• →Reinforce behavior support strategies and social-emotional growth
• →Assist students with organization, task completion, and following directions
• →Help create and prepare learning materials and resources
• →Supervise students during lunch, recess, arrival, and dismissal as assigned
• →Foster a positive, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment

• Experience working with ESE students or students with diverse learning needs strongly preferred
• Background in education, special education, child development, or related field preferred
• Strong communication, patience, flexibility, and teamwork skills
• Commitment to supporting the Catholic mission and values of the school
