Are you ready to start a meaningful career helping individuals build confidence, independence, and life skills? Cumberland County Guidance Center is seeking both Full and Part-Time Residence Specialists (II) to join our residential services team in Vineland, NJ.

We're excited to offer a starting rate of $20.00 per hour, outstanding benefits, and the opportunity to work alongside dedicated professionals who are passionate about helping others succeed.

This role is ideal for graduates in Social Work, Psychology, Human Services, or related fields who want hands-on experience in behavioral health and community mental health services.


For more than 60 years, Cumberland County Guidance Center has been a trusted provider of behavioral health and mental health services throughout the region. Our multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, therapists, nurses, social workers, case managers, and support professionals is committed to improving lives through compassionate, person-centered care.

Responsibilities

As a Residence Specialist II, you'll help individuals develop skills that support recovery, independence, and successful community living.

Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting residents with daily living and recovery goals
  • Assisting in the development of individualized service plans
  • Monitoring and documenting resident progress by maintaining accurate documentation and progress notes
  • Facilitating recreational, social, and skill-building activities
  • Providing transportation assistance as needed
  • Encouraging community integration and participation
  • Supporting a safe, structured, and recovery-focused environment

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Psychology or related field
  • Experience in behavioral health, residential services, or community mental health
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
  • Strong documentation and organizational skills
