Cedar Park Med is hiring Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) for full-time openings in a secure correctional facility in Bishopville, SC. This is a long-term, open-ended assignment with a steady 3x12 schedule, and every other weekend rotation. If you’re dependable and comfortable working in a structured, safety-focused environment, you’ll be part of a collaborative clinical team that values consistency, communication, and mutual support throughout your assignment.

- 3x12-hour shifts
- Day Shift: 6:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Night Shift: 6:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Every other weekend required
- Long-term assignment
In this correctional healthcare setting, the CNA provides direct patient support under nursing supervision while maintaining safety, structure, and confidentiality. You will assist with routine care needs and observe patient conditions within a secure facility while coordinating appropriately with medical and custody staff.
Responsibilities

- →Obtain and document patient measurements and basic care as assigned, including vital signs, oxygen saturation checks, peak flow readings, ROM exercises, and daily living support when clinically indicated
- →Monitor patients for changes in condition and report concerns to licensed nursing staff
- →Maintain a clean, safe clinical area and follow infection control standards
- →Document care accurately and communicate effectively with healthcare and custody staff while maintaining professional boundaries
Requirements

- Active CNA certification
- 1 year experience in a correctional, prison, emergency, behavioral health, or other high-acuity clinical setting.
- Current BLS certification or ability to obtain prior to start
- Comfortable working in a secure correctional facility environment
- Ability to work effectively in a secure, structured environment and follow facility protocols
- Consistent, detail-oriented approach to documentation with a strong focus on patient safety
