Cedar Park Med is hiring experienced travel Registered Nurses (RNs) for night shift Adult Med/Surg openings. This opportunity is ideal for an RN with recent acute care Med/Surg experience who is comfortable working in a fast-paced hospital environment and can perform the majority of patient care functions with minimal orientation and supervision.

Night Shift: Adult Med/Surg Units
Every other weekend required
Some holidays required
5-month assignment with possible extension

Requirements

Current New York State RN registration
Current BLS certification or ability to be recertified
Minimum of 1.5 years of recent experience within the past 2 years in an acute care facility of similar size and level as the hospital
Traveler candidates must have experience in hospitals of equal or greater size or in Level 1 or Level 2 trauma centers
Ability to start IVs, draw labs, and monitor telemetry

EPIC experience preferred

Responsibilities

→ Provide direct nursing care in Adult Med/Surg acute care units
→ Perform the majority of patient care skills needed in the specialty with minimal orientation and supervision
→ Complete nursing assessments and monitor patient condition
→ Start IVs, draw labs, and monitor telemetry as needed
→ Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary care teams to support high-quality patient care
→ Maintain accurate documentation and follow hospital policies and procedures
