Practice Management & Staff Development:
· Assist with onboarding and training for all MA/CA employees.
· Maintain staff morale. Problem solve and build a positive work culture to align with our mission and values.
· Perform related work as assigned to possibly include but not limited to Vaccine inventory, medical supplies inventory, oversight of proper sterilization, Prolia injections, allergy injections and visit tracking management.
· Support and participate in the clinic 7-day-a-week operation through a regular rotation of weekend and on-call coverage.
· Provide back up to MUC supervisor on off days.
· Escalate non-compliance/nonresponse concerns to the MA Supervisor.
· Attend necessary meetings and participate in CPH Strategic Committees/subcommittees as appropriate.
· Facilitate value-based care.
· Assist in the capture and documentation of Quality Data.
· Maintain strict confidentiality, adhere to HIPAA guidelines and regulations.
· Works with MA Supervisor to address daily needs or concerns.
· Communicate to staff under the direction of the MA Supervisor of, but not limited to staff meetings, training, leadership updates and other discretionary items as provided by the MA Supervisor.
· Assist and address any errors with coding and help facilitate resubmitting claims.
· Assist in monthly staff meetings in conjunction with MA Supervisor.
· Other duties as assigned.
Administrative Duties:
· Assist MUC Supervisor with staff scheduling and timecards, ensuring accuracy.
· Maintains Staff schedules for breaks and coverage.
· Discuss staff coverage with Supervisor for pending requests, such as missed punches, PTO, etc
· Provide input to MUC Supervisor for employee performance and bonus evaluations.
· Provide input on process and procedure improvements for patient care and overall training.
· Learn the front desk operation as to assist with training and fill in. Certification completion preferred, time permitting.
Public Relations:
· Triage and handle patient complaints. Use these situations and examples to help coach Staff. Hand off high-level situations/complaints to the MUC Supervisor.
Technology/Facility:
· Assist Supervisor with inventory tracking and submission to the Primary Care Multisite Manager for approval including but not limited to vaccine, medical and office supply inventory.
· Develop under the direction of the Supervisor a desired list of inventory items.
· Help maintain office and testing equipment per manufacturer guidelines.
· Help maintain facilities and alert the Supervisor when issues arise.
Requirements

· Knowledge of examination, diagnostic and treatment room procedures.
· Knowledge of medical equipment and instruments.
· Ability to interpret, adapt, and apply guidelines and procedures.
· Ability to communicate effectively verbally or written.
· Ability to use good reasoning and judgement and react calmly in emergency situations.
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent. State or National Medical Assistant Certification is preferred.
Experience: Must have a minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in a physician’s office or equivalent combination of training and experience.
Mental and Physical Requirements: Varied activities including standing, walking, reaching, bending, and lifting. This position requires full range of body motion including handling and lifting patients, manual and finger dexterity, and eye-hand coordination. Must be able to use a variety of office equipment. May require working under stressful conditions.
Conditions: Normal office and exam room environment. The position requires the ability to work under pressure and with a diverse population, including staff, physicians, clients, patients, insurance companies, labs, hospitals, and other members of the public on a regular basis. The position may cause exposure to communicable diseases, bodily fluids, toxic substances, ionizing radiation, medicinal preparations, and other conditions common to a clinical environment.
