Are you a structured and detail-oriented quality professional who enjoys keeping documentation, customer portals and Quality administration on track? Join us as our Quality Administrator USA.
As Quality Administrator USA you are responsible for the core administrative quality activities for our USA and Canada organization. You ensure that questionnaires, customer portals, quality documentation and supplier and customer information are accurate, complete and up to date. You act as the operational quality link between the USA organization and our Head Office Quality team in Alkmaar, the Netherlands. You report to the Quality Manager in Alkmaar and receive day-to-day operational guidance from the Operations Director USA. The role is primarily office-based in the Chicago or St. Louis area.
Complete and follow up supplier and customer questionnaires and requests.;
Collect and check information and ensure timely responses.;
Prepare and share statements, certificates and quality documentation.;
Keep supplier and customer information accurate and up to date.;
Monitor document validity and follow up missing or expired documents;
Support supplier, customer, warehouse and third-party quality activities;
Coordinate product samples, testing requests and analysis results;
Support traceability exercises, mock recalls, audits and warehouse visits;
Support quality training activities;
Provide day-to-day quality support to internal and external stakeholders;
Coordinate routine quality topics with the Head Office Quality team;
Escalate recurring or business-critical quality issues when needed.
Based in the Chicago or St. Louis area;
A relevant degree in Quality Management, Food Science, Food Safety or a comparable field;
Experience in quality assurance, food safety, supplier quality or compliance support;
Familiarity with US food safety requirements, FSMA and preferably PCQI certification, or willingness to obtain this;
Knowledge of HACCP, supplier documentation, traceability and corrective action follow-up;
A structured, accurate and detail-oriented way of working, with the ability to organize priorities and meet deadlines.
An employment contract of 40 hours per week;
