The Payroll & Grants Specialist is responsible for the administration of Central Ozarks Medical Center grants including accounting, reporting, and financial compliance with local, state, and Federal regulatory agencies. The Payroll & Grants Manager processes and coordinates the functions of payroll distribution, accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and general computer/data processing related to grants.
QUALIFICATIONS
- An undergraduate degree in finance, accounting, or related field. An advanced degree would be viewed positively.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in finance or accounting with advanced knowledge of federal grant reporting.
- Extensive knowledge of accounting and office software packages is required.
- Must have good people skills with ability to relate to diverse groups of people and people on all levels.
- Ability to travel and provide own transportation and have valid Missouri driver's license.
- Excellent listening, oral and written skills; Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Must be able to type with speed and accuracy.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Grants Administration: budgeting, accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, and financial audits.
- Payroll Administration: payroll allocations.
- Compliance: grant financial reports, purchasing, HRSA site visit (grant lead).
- All other duties as requested by the CFO.
