Product Manager

Centrifuge builds the infrastructure that connects real-world assets to onchain capital. We’ve partnered with S&P Dow Jones Indices, brought Janus Henderson’s AAA CLO strategy onchain, and crossed $1.7B in TVL on our platform. Backed by ParaFi Capital, Greenfield, Circle Ventures, and Coinbase, we’re building the open operating stack for onchain finance.

That stack has two layers. Tokenization brings assets onchain: compliant issuance for institutional managers and vertically integrated originators structuring products natively. Vaults turn those assets into products: handling subscriptions, redemptions, pricing, compliance, cross-chain distribution, and composability with DeFi. Together, they form the infrastructure for how assets are structured, how capital flows, and how the next generation of financial products are built.

We’re looking for a Product Manager to work closely with the Head of Product and the engineering team. You’ll be at the center of how features go from idea to production — shaping product direction, working with engineers, and making sure nothing falls through the cracks along the way.

This is a hands-on, technically grounded role. You’ll define what we build and why, validate ideas against real user behavior and on-chain data, coordinate across engineering and design, and make sure what ships actually works. AI handles a lot of the spec-writing and documentation now — your job is to bring the judgment, context, and taste that tools can’t. As you build context on the protocol and the space, you’ll take on more ownership and drive product workstreams end-to-end.

We’re especially interested in people coming from an engineering or technical background who want to move into product. If you’ve been building in DeFi and want to shape what gets built rather than just how — this is the role.

  Shape product direction: Define features and workstreams in collaboration with the Head of Product. Translate protocol-level strategy into concrete product decisions.

  Drive planning and delivery: Work with engineering on priorities, scoping, and execution. Speak the same language as the team and unblock progress.

  Validate with data: Ground product decisions in on-chain data, user research, and competitive analysis. Identify what’s working and what isn’t.

  QA before launch: Catch gaps early, understand the technical surface, and make sure what ships actually works for users.

  Leverage AI tooling: Use AI effectively to accelerate spec writing, research, and documentation.

  Research and distill: Investigate technical and competitive questions and surface what matters to the team.

  Own features end-to-end: As you ramp up, take full ownership of workstreams from problem definition through shipping.

• Technical background: You’ve written code professionally or as a serious side pursuit. You can read a smart contract, review a PR, and hold your own in an architecture discussion.

• DeFi fluency: Real experience using DeFi protocols. You can speak to wallet flows, gas dynamics, signing UX, and the rough edges users actually hit.

• Strong product instincts: You know when something is off, you push for clarity, and you care about the details that make a product feel right.

• Clear written communication: You can write a spec, a ticket, or a Slack message that doesn’t need a follow-up to clarify.

• Async-ready: Comfortable with remote work and self-directed time management.

• Experience building or contributing to DeFi protocols, dApps, or on-chain infrastructure

• Familiarity with on-chain data tooling — indexers, subgraphs, GraphQL

• Interest or background in finance — fund structures, NAV, subscription/redemption mechanics, custody, compliance

• Experience with RWA protocols, tokenization platforms, or structured credit products

• Curious and deep: You’d rather understand something deeply than skim the surface. You ask when you’re unsure rather than guessing.

• Shipping-oriented: Done and good beats perfect and theoretical. You care about getting things into users’ hands.
