As a Sourcing Specialist at Centura, you will drive Centura Wealth Advisory's strategy to proactively identify, engage, and qualify top-tier candidates for internal roles across the firm's advisory, operations, planning, technology, and client service functions. This role will build and manage a robust talent pipeline, conducting thoughtful assessments of cultural and operational fit while positioning Centura as an employer of choice within the financial services and wealth management industry. The ideal candidate will combine strong sourcing expertise, intellectual curiosity, a deep appreciation for the firm's values, and the interpersonal skills to attract professionals who are ready to contribute to Centura's mission: helping clients liberate their wealth through sophisticated planning and genuine partnership.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- Build and maintain a comprehensive, role-specific pipeline of prospective candidates across all internal functions including financial planning, client service, investment operations, technology, compliance, and corporate support.
- Develop and execute a multi-channel sourcing strategy — including LinkedIn Recruiter, niche job boards, industry associations, networking events, alumni networks, and proactive direct outreach — to identify and engage high-caliber talent.
- Leverage market intelligence, talent databases, and industry research to identify candidates matching specific role criteria, including functional expertise, licensing or certifications (e.g., CFP, CFA, Series 65/66), career trajectory, geographic availability, and cultural alignment.
- Conduct initial outreach and qualification conversations to assess interest, cultural fit, and alignment with Centura's core values — Accountability, Excellence, Passion, Humility, Transparency, and Collaboration — prior to formal recruiter handoff.
- Re-engage silver medalist and previously sourced candidates from the ATS for new or reopened roles, maximizing the value of existing pipeline investments.
- Evaluate prospective candidates on both tangible qualifications (credentials, experience level, functional skills, career progression) and qualitative factors (communication style, growth mindset, values alignment, team orientation).
- Prepare concise candidate summaries and recommendations for the Talent Acquisition team, providing relevant context and market intelligence alongside each profile.
- Understand the nuances of roles common to RIA environments — including financial planners, paraplanning staff, client relationship managers, portfolio associates, and operations specialists — and tailor sourcing approaches accordingly.
- Cultivate and maintain long-term relationships with prospective talent, building a warm candidate network that can be activated quickly when roles open.
- Represent Centura as a dynamic, purpose-driven employer; clearly and compellingly articulate our value proposition, Liberated Wealth™ philosophy, culture, and career development opportunities to prospective candidates.
- Manage candidate touchpoints throughout the sourcing lifecycle with professionalism, responsiveness, and transparency — ensuring a best-in-class experience regardless of whether a candidate ultimately moves forward.
- Partner with the TA team on employer branding initiatives to strengthen Centura's visibility and reputation as a destination employer in the wealth management space.
- Maintain accurate, organized, and timely records of all sourcing activities, pipeline status, and candidate interactions within the ATS.
- Provide regular pipeline updates and sourcing metrics reports to the Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition and relevant hiring stakeholders, tracking key indicators such as outreach-to-response rate, pipeline conversion, and time-to-qualify.
- Support the TA team with intake documentation, job description drafting, sourcing research, and administrative tasks as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned, contributing to a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
- Exceptional networking and relationship-building capabilities; ability to establish credibility and trust quickly with professionals at all levels, from entry-level associates to senior advisors and executives.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to craft compelling, personalized outreach messages and clearly articulate Centura's story and opportunity to diverse audiences.
- Working knowledge of the financial services or wealth management industry — including familiarity with RIA business models, common internal roles, and relevant credentials — is a meaningful advantage.
- Research-oriented and analytically minded; comfortable using data to identify sourcing patterns, evaluate pipeline health, prioritize outreach, and surface actionable insights.
- Self-directed and resourceful; able to manage multiple open requisitions and competing priorities while maintaining pipeline momentum with minimal supervision.
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills; ability to execute complex outreach sequences, follow-up cadences, and reporting with consistency.
- Collaborative mindset and cross-functional fluency; comfortable partnering with hiring managers, People & Culture Specialist, operations, and senior leadership.
- High emotional intelligence and discretion; able to handle sensitive candidate information appropriately and represent Centura with professionalism in every interaction.
- Proactive and results-oriented; motivated by pipeline targets, conversion metrics, and the satisfaction of seeing great hires make a meaningful impact.
Requirements
~1 min read- 2-4+ years of experience in talent sourcing, recruiting, or a closely related business development, research, or talent advisory role; financial services or professional services experience strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated track record of building and managing candidate pipelines across multiple simultaneous requisitions, with measurable results in pipeline conversion and time-to-fill contribution.
- Proficiency with LinkedIn Recruiter and at least one enterprise ATS platform.
- Familiarity with roles and credentials common to the RIA and wealth management industry (CFP, CFA, Series 65/66, CIMA, paraplanner, client associate, financial planner, etc.) is preferred but not required.
- Strong networking capabilities and genuine interest in building long-term professional relationships.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to satisfactorily complete Centura's hiring process requirements, including background checks.
- Perform other duties as assigned, contributing to a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
- A robust, role-ready talent pipeline for Centura's core internal functions — fully maintained, regularly refreshed, and ready to activate when requisitions open.
- A measurable increase in the number of qualified, values-aligned candidates entering the pipeline and progressing to handoff, reflected in improved pipeline conversion and time-to-qualify metrics.

Salary range: $70,000 - $80,000 plus bonus.
