Evans Roofing Company, Inc. is a national leader in the commercial roofing industry. We are seeking a Human Resources Coordinator who will provide administrative and operational support to the Human Resources department. The successful candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and committed to supporting efficient recruiting and onboarding processes. This role helps ensure a smooth hiring experience for candidates and new employees while supporting the overall needs of the company.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the recruiting process by posting job openings, reviewing applications, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates throughout the hiring process.
- Assist with hiring activities, including preparing offer letters, coordinating pre-employment screenings, and ensuring all required hiring documentation is completed.
- Review new hire paperwork and facilitate the collection of required onboarding documents.
- Coordinate onboarding activities and serve as a resource for new employees during their transition into the organization.
- Track onboarding progress and follow up on outstanding requirements to ensure timely completion.
- Assist with recruiting and workforce development initiatives, including career fairs, hiring events, school partnerships, and employment branding efforts.
- Support communication initiatives by assisting with company newsletters, announcements, employee updates, and other organizational communications.
- Assist with planning and coordinating company events.
- Provide administrative support for Human Resources projects and special initiatives as assigned.
- Maintain professionalism and confidentiality while interacting with candidates, employees, and external partners.
Requirements:
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other business software applications.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with others.
- Prior experience in recruiting, recruiting, human resources, communications, or a related field preferred.
